Prosciutto Picnic Baguette
Not all picnic sandwiches are created equal! Don’t waste time on those soggy sangas and enjoy a freshly baked Sourdough Baguette instead, stuffed with salty prosciutto, blue cheese and pear.
Ingredients
1 Bakers Delight Sourdough Baguette
1 tsp horseradish crème
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbs whole egg mayonnaise
1 cup rocket
1/3 cup (65g) blue cheese, crumbled
4 slices (60g) prosciutto
1/2 pear sliced lengthways
Method
STEP 1
Divide the Sourdough Baguette into 4 even piece. Slice each one in half and set aside
STEP 2
In a small bowl, combine the horseradish crème, Dijon mustard and whole egg mayonnaise
STEP 3
Spread over all pieces of baguette and top with rocket, blue cheese, prosciutto and pear
STEP 4
Top with remaining pieces of baguette pieces and serve
