Biscoff French Toast Soldiers

Get ready to enjoy every bite of these delicious soldiers, combining French toast comfort with the unique flavours of biscoff spread. A breakfast dream come true!
Ingredients
8 slices of Bakers Delight Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Block Loaf
8 tbsp biscoff spread
1 egg
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp almond milk or milk of choice
1 tsp cinnamon
Cinnamon sugar
Extra biscoff spread to serve (optional)
Method
STEP 1
Cut the crusts off each slice of bread. Spread a thick layer of biscoff onto 4 slices, place the remaining slices on top and cut in half
STEP 2
In a bowl mix together egg, maple syrup, almond milk and cinnamon
STEP 3
Heat a non stick pan to medium, coat the bread in the egg mixture and add to the pan. Cook for 3 minutes per side or until golden
STEP 4
Once cooked coat in cinnamon sugar. Add to a plate and serve with melted biscoff spread
