Chicken Meatball Garlic Sub

Sometimes a sammie just needs to go big—and this one does. Perfect for footy nights, lunch on the go, or feeding hungry teens after school.
Ingredients
Meatballs Ingredients
500g mince chicken
1 egg
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 tbs chopped parsley
salt & pepper
Garlic Sub Ingredients
4 Bakers Delight White Long Rolls
8 tbs butter
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tbs chopped parsley
salt & pepper
1 jar tomato passata
1 cup grated cheese
Method
Meatballs
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
STEP 2
Mix all meatball ingredients together in a large bowl
STEP 3
Using tbs amounts of mince, roll into meatballs and place onto a lined baking tray
STEP 4
Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until golden and cooked through
Garlic Subs
STEP 1
Cut each roll into half, lengthways
STEP 2
In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, butter, parsley, salt & pepper. Mix well
STEP 3
Spread the garlic butter over each half of the rolls and placed on a lined baking tray
STEP 4
Bake for 5-10 minutes or until golden & toasted
STEP 5
To assemble the subs, place 4-5 meatballs on 1 half of each roll, top with tomato passata & grated cheese. Place other half of the roll back on top. Serve immediately
