Turkish Eggs with Baguette Slices
Serves 1 Difficulty Easy
Whether it’s a busy weekday or a slow weekend morning, these Turkish eggs with baguette slices are a delicious way to elevate breakfast.
Ingredients
1 Bakers Delight Sourdough Baguette, sliced and toasted
2 eggs
1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dukkah
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt, to taste
Fresh dill, basil & parsley
Method
STEP 1
Bring a small saucepan of water to a gentle simmer. Crack eggs into the water and poach for 3 – 4 minutes, then remove and set aside
STEP 2
In a bowl, spoon the Greek yoghurt
STEP 3
Place the poached eggs on top of the yoghurt
STEP 4
Dust paprika, dukkah and salt & pepper over the bowl
STEP 5
Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve with toasted baguette slices on the side
