The Classic Toasted Club

Craving a simple, mouthwatering treat? Try this delectable Club Sandwich! Packed with layers of ham, fresh vegetables, and Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Loaf!

Ingredients

6 slices of Bakers Delight Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Bread, toasted
6-8 slices of ham
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh parsley leaves
Mayonnaise
Butter
Lettuce leaves

Method

STEP 1

Toast the Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Bread slices until they’re golden and crispy. Optionally, spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice for added flavour.

STEP 2

Time to assemble! Lay out three slices of the toasted Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Bread on a clean surface.

STEP 3

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.

STEP 4

Layer one slice with ham, followed by tomato slices, cucumber slices, red onion slices, and parsley leaves.

STEP 5

Place another toasted bread slice on top and repeat the layering process.

STEP 6

Top with the remaining toasted bread slice, mayonnaise side down.

STEP 7

Gently press down on the sandwich to ensure everything sticks together. Use toothpicks to hold the sandwich layers in place and cut the sandwich into quarters to form triangles.

Serve immediately and enjoy your deliciously layered and toasted Club Sandwich!
