No matter your plans this Easter, our Hot Cross Bun bacon sandwich recipe is the perfect mix of sweet, salty and easy!

Ingredients

4 Bakers Delight Traditional Hot Cross Buns, halved
8 pieces of streaky bacon
Butter
Maple syrup

Method

STEP 1

Heat the grill at high heat. When the grill is hot, add the bacon and cook until crispy or to your liking. Press bacon onto paper towel to remove excess oil

STEP 2

Place the Hot Cross Buns on the grill, cut side down, and toast until golden. Spread the toasted sides with butter

STEP 3

Load up your Hot Cross Buns with bacon and serve immediately with maple syrup
