Reindeer Cake Pops
Serves 20 Difficulty Easy
Stir up some Christmas magic with our Reindeer Cake Pops! Cute, tasty, and perfect for the Kiwi holiday season!
Ingredients
1 Bakers Delight Large Traditional Christmas Cake
2 180g blocks milk chocolate
Pretzels
Mini M&Ms (red)
20 cake pop sticks
1 tube black writing icing
Method
STEP 1
Cut your pretzels in half, right down the middle so that each half resembles an antler. You will need 20 sets (and a few extras just in case).
STEP 2
In a large mixing bowl, crumble your Bakers Delight Large Traditional Christmas Cake. Melt 1 block of milk chocolate and stir this through the Christmas Cake crumbs.
STEP 3
Line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
STEP 4
Take a large spoonful of the cake mixture and shape into a ball, add a cake pop stick into the middle until secure. Repeat with all the mixture, making roughly 20 cake pops.
STEP 5
Chill the cake pops in the freezer for 20 mins.
STEP 6
Melt the second block of milk chocolate. Once properly chilled gently coat each cake pop with the melted chocolate and return to the lined trays. The chocolate should set very quickly on the cold cake pops.
STEP 7
Using the left-over melted chocolate, attach 2 pretzel antlers to the top of each pop and a red M&M as a reindeer nose. Use the black writing icing to draw 2 black dots for eyes.
STEP 8
Enjoy straight away or store gently in an airtight container.
