This cream scones recipe is super easy to make. All you need are our delicious scones, strawberries, cream, sugar, and a splash of Cointreau. Serve them with fresh strawberries on the side for the perfect accompaniment to these decadent cream scones. Simply irresistible!
Ingredients
8 Bakers Delight Traditional Scones
2 punnets of strawberries, quartered
2 tbsp caster sugar
1 tbsp Cointreau (optional)
600ml thickened cream
Method
STEP 1
To a small saucepan add the sliced strawberries, sugar and Cointreau. Place on a low-medium heat stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes until the strawberries start to soften and create a bit of juice.
STEP 2
Using electric beaters, whip the thickened cream until firm peaks form.
STEP 3
Slice the Bakers Delight Traditional Scones in half and top with the macerated strawberries & whipped cream. Serve immediately.
