Charcuterie Roses Recipe
Serves 12 Difficulty Easy
Take your Kiwi grazing board to the next level with stunning charcuterie roses! 🥂🌹 Easy, elegant, and delicious.
Ingredients
12 slices Bakers Delight Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Block Loaf
2 tbsp melted butter
72 thin slices of salami
12 tsp cream cheese
4 cherry tomatoes (quartered)
12 small basil leaves (or 2 tsp finely chopped)
Pepper
Method
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 180°C degrees
STEP 2
Cut the crust off the bread
STEP 3
Cut a small 1.5cm slit into each side of the bread and push each piece into a muffin tray, slightly overlapping to create a cup-like shape
STEP 4
Brush each with melted butter and place into the oven for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly brown
STEP 5
Meanwhile, make the salami roses using a champagne flute, pushing 6 slightly overlapping around the glass. Flip and pull out of the glass to form a rose
STEP 6
Pull the bread out of the oven and wait 5 minutes to cool
STEP 7
Assemble the bread with 1 tsp of cream cheese, 2 quarters of tomatoes, a basil leaf and the salami rose. Repeat with all. Top with pepper and enjoy!
